Pakistani cricketers' movement restricted in Ahmedabad

The Pakistan cricket team arrived in Ahmedabad from Hyderabad on a chartered flight on Wednesday. The Men in Green have a match scheduled against India on Saturday.

The players had a practice session yesterday, and it will continue even on Friday. In contrast to Hyderabad, the green shirts have to exercise more precautions in Ahmedabad.

According to sources, the hosts' top authorities made it clear in a meeting that there are no security concerns for the Pakistan team, but extra precautions will still be taken in Ahmedabad. They don't want players to go to any public places and encounter negative chants or incidents from anywhere. This could create an unpleasant situation. However, if the players want to go for dinner, etc., inform them in advance, and arrangements will be made.

Sources revealed that the team was well aware before the arrival that extra precautions would be needed in Ahmedabad. Also, they are only spending a few days there. On the next day of the match, on Sunday, the squad will depart for Bangalore.

The team management has arranged a pool table for the cricketers at the hotel. Facilities for table tennis are also set up for their recreation. There are opportunities for swimming and training as well. One player mentioned that they had a great time in Hyderabad, where they went out for dinner twice. They enjoyed biryani the first time and relished kebabs and other dishes the second time. They had an exhilarating experience with archery and go-karting, and they also had the opportunity to shop. They were warmly welcomed at the airport. The hotel staff was very hospitable and took good care of them. Hopefully, they will experience similar hospitality in other cities as well.
