PCB rejects 'surrender claims', insists on sticking to its position

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dismissed recent reports suggesting Pakistan's "surrender" in its dealings with the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the Champions Trophy, calling these stories "nonsense."

Mohsin Naqvi and the PCB delegation, who had been in Dubai for meetings, have returned to Pakistan. Sources close to the board revealed that the PCB chairman held several discussions regarding the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, but emphasized that Pakistan’s stance remains unchanged.

The sources confirmed that the PCB presented its conditions to the ICC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and is now awaiting their response. The board stated that if Pakistan had intended to "surrender," the ICC and the Indian Cricket Board would not have requested additional time to respond.

With the ongoing holidays in Dubai, the PCB acknowledged that delays in receiving answers from the ICC and BCCI are expected. The board remains firm in its position and is waiting for the formal replies from both organizations.
