The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to put strict measures in place, after the recent controversy involving opening batsman Imamul Haq.
According to sources, the PCB is unhappy with the campaign on social media against Imam, where he was accused of allegedly cheating with several women, and wants to ensure that no such incidents take place in the future by laying special emphasis on Player Education Programme.

Through the programme, cricketers will be guided about how to use social media and avoid getting embroiled in such controversies. The PCB is also considering the possibility of including a clause in the central contract of players, in relation to such occurrences.
The board has also completed its initial investigation, regarding the controversy surrounding Imam, and could take legal action against people who are blackmailing cricketers.
