The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly asked the head of the cricket committee Mohsin Khan to avoid giving controversial comments. 

The PCB formed a three-member cricket to assist and advise the board’s chairman in relation to plans for promotion and conduct of game at all levels.

The committee also included former Pakistan captains Wasim Akram, Misbahul Haq and former Women’s captain and selector Urooj Mumtaz.

According to a report published on Daily Express, the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani is unhappy with the series of statements from the 63-year-old which has caused unrest in the team ranks. 

Mohsin, who has played 48 Tests and 75 ODIs for the Men in Green, where he scored 4,586 runs collectively, is famous for his blunt remarks. 

Before becoming the head of the committee, Mohsin criticised the head coach Mickey Arthur, whereas after taking charge of the post, shared his views that Sarfraz Ahmed should not be the captain of the Test team. 

Following comments did not go well with neither Sarfraz or with Arthur, as both complained the PCB chairman about it. 

Following such controversy, the board has asked Mohsin to focus on his work and avoid giving such remarks. 

The report further stated that the board is already looking for an alternative if Mohsin does not follow the board’s guidelines.
