Hafeez, Misbah raise concerns over Imad Wasim's dip in PSL 9

Former cricketers Mohammad Hafeez and Misbah ul Haq have expressed concerns over the current state of Imad Wasim's performance and demeanor on the field in PSL 9.

Speaking on a local sports channel, Hafeez remarked on the transformation in Imad's character, noting his active involvement in discussions and aggressive body language, traits that seem to have faded since his franchise change.

"Imad Wasim's character, right from the start that we saw him in domestic cricket, then when he played for Pakistan, and then when he stayed with Karachi Kings, the current Imad Wasim that we see, we have never seen before. He used to get involved in a lot of discussions, his body language was quite attacking, he used to try to take charge of the ball himself. Now, since he has changed his franchise, he is having trouble adjusting. But up until now, Imad Wasim's body language as a player doesn't seem confident," Hafeez said.

Misbah ul Haq emphasized the importance of Imad's contribution with the bat, which appears to be lacking in recent matches.

"Imad performs with the bat and that is somewhat missing. Islamabad needs him at the moment and for the upcoming matches too," said Misbah.

Imad, known for his all-round abilities and with Islamabad in need of a resurgence in their PSL campaign, all eyes are on him to rediscover his form and make significant contributions in the upcoming matches.
