Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi have already secured their spots in the playoffs for the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Currently, Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, and Karachi Kings are in contention for the remaining two playoff positions.
Quetta, with two matches left against Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans, requires just one more victory to confirm their playoff berth.
On the other hand, Karachi Kings need to win their last game Peshawar Zalmi on Monday to remain in the playoff race. Furthermore, Karachi is dependent on either Islamabad United or Quetta Gladiators losing all their remaining matches for a chance to secure a playoff spot.
Islamabad United just need to win their last match against Multan Sultans to secure a spot in the next stage.
If Karachi Kings lose their last game, both Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United will automatically qualify for the playoffs.
It's worth noting that the defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, are already out of contention for the playoffs.
