Peshawar Zalmi’s player-cum-head coach Darren Sammy has said that Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) was a success despite the coronavirus pandemic.
Sammy shared a heartfelt message on social media website Instagram urging people to take care of themselves amid the global spread of coronavirus.
“Despite this corona virus seeing @thepsl in Pakistan was a great success. Thanks to the @peshawarzalmipk family once again for having me. To all of the loving people of Pakistan take care of yourselves be safe from this virus. Till we meet again inshallah,” said Sammy.
The HBL PSL season five had been postponed indefinitely after a meeting between PCB and PSL franchises on Tuesday.
The decision was taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and PSL franchises, unanimously, after one foreign player was suspected with coronavirus.
It must be noted that the PCB has suspended its all domestic competitions and cricket activities.
