Pakistan cricketer, Salman Butt, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, Najam Sethi, for referring to Babar Azam as 'status quo'.
Salman's statement was made in the context of discussions between the selection committee regarding Babar Azam's captaincy future.

In a recent interview, the 38-year-old has stressed the significance of backing the Pakistan skipper as he has made considerable contributions to the national team, even in times when he couldn't deliver his best performance.
"One thing I appreciate about Najam Sethi is his stance on non-interference in cricket matters. He should have the same stance while giving statements about Pakistan team's matters," he said.
"He is using political languuage. He [Babar] is not the status quo. Babar is our main player and currently the number one batsman. Our success in winning matches over the past years has been largely due to Babar's contributions. If he's absent, we're certain to lose, and if he fails to score, instead of drawing a red line around him, we should support and encourage him," he concluded.
Previously, Najam Sethi took over his Twitter and made the future of the national team's skipper steer clear.
The controversial statements, the cover-ups, and the blame game wasn't perceived pleasantly by the cricket fans, especially the Babar fandom. It was a matter of seconds for them when they started running #StayInYourLimitsNajamSethi and #BabarAzamIsOurRedLine on Twitter.
