A security team consisting of two members from Cricket New Zealand has arrived in Pakistan to evaluate the current security arrangements ahead of the T20I series between both countries.
The delegation, inclusive of independent security experts and representatives from the New Zealand Players Association, will scrutinize the arrangements in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for the initial phase. Subsequently, they will assess the accommodations and stadium arrangements in Lahore for the second phase.
The upcoming visit by the New Zealand cricket team is scheduled to include five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches in April.
As per the proposed itinerary, the Kiwi squad is expected to arrive in Pakistan on April 14, with the first T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand slated for April 18.
