The semi-final lineup of ongoing National T20 Cup in Multan is complete after the conclusion of group stage matches on Sunday.
Karachi Whites, Lahore Whites, Rawalpindi and Islamabad qualified for the last four stage of the tournament.
On the final day of group stage matches, Rawalpindi overcame Karachi Whites by eight wickets — to finish at the top of the table with 10 points from seven games — while Islamabad defeated Multan by seven wickets to qualify for the semi-final on better net run rate.
Multan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Lahore Blues and Peshawar won three matches each but were knocked out of the tournament because of poor net run rate as compared to Islamabad — who had the same number of wins.
The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on Monday December 24 — first one between Karachi Whites and Rawalpindi and the second between Lahore Whites and Islamabad.
The winners from the semi-finals will face-off in the final on December 25.
