Pakistan all-rounder, Shadab Khan, expressed his admiration for his national team's skipper, Babar Azam, and his ability to make critical on-field decisions.

In an exclusive interview with Cricket Pakistan, Shadab Khan stated that Babar confidently takes risky and critical decisions on the field, which at times leaves the rest of the teammates in surprise, but most often, all his spontaneous decisions turn out to be favorable for the team.

"On the field, at times, it appears to us that he might be making the wrong decision, but Babar has been blessed beyond measure since he always had Almighty's help which has guided him in making the right decisions," Shadab said.

"We don't really enjoy with Babar on the field because he is a different person altogether over there, but we do enjoy with him off the field," he added.

The 24-year-old also urged the nation to equally respect Babar as he is keeping Pakistan cricket on the right track.

"Babar is that kind of a player who has garnered respect all over the world. As a nation, we also should try to give him the same amount of respect, especially the way he is making Pakistan proud worldwide," he concluded.
