Shaheen Afridi discloses why Pakistan players loaded luggage at Sydney airport

Shaheen Shah Afridi, while talking to media on Sunday, addressed a viral video showing members of the Pakistan cricket team loading their own luggage at Sydney airport.

Afridi clarified the situation, explaining that the players assisted one another due to time constraints, as they had a mere 30 minutes to catch their connecting flight.

“We only had 30 minutes to catch our next flight and we helped because there were just two people. We wanted to wrap it up fast and to save time," revealed Afridi.

Afridi also opened up about his team’s aspirations for the upcoming three-match Test series against Australia, starting from December 14 in Perth.

"This is an important series for Pakistan as we are leading the World Test Championship's point table at the moment," he said.

"We have played against the recently announced Australia's 14-member squad, and we are all up for this challenge," he added.

Pakistan will take on Prime Minister’s XI in a four-day match at Manuka Oval in Canberra, starting from December 6.
