Emerging Pakistani pacer Shahnawaz Dahani shared his excitement as he met former Indian captain MS Dhoni after the conclusion of the Pakistan-India T20 World Cup match in Dubai.
The 23-year-old is on Pakistan's reserves list for the competition and had a chance to meet his 'dream player' Dhoni, who is with the Men in Blue as a mentor.
Dahani, in a tweet, was also elated over Pakistan's victory against arch-rivals for the first time in the history of the World Cup.
The Indian cricket team was shell-shocked by a completely dominating performance by Men in Green as they faced defeat by ten wickets, their first-ever in the history of T20I cricket.
Skipper Babar Azam (68) and Mohammad Rizwan (79) cruised the run chase with 13 balls to spare. Left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi laid a perfect platform with figures of 3-31 that restricted India to 151-7.
The Men in Green will now take on New Zealand on October 26 at the Sharjah International Stadium.
