Veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is in no mood to hold back lately as he responded to the latest Twitter row involving him and former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, by putting out a strong statement in a tweet on Saturday afternoon.
Hafeez didn’t reply directly to Sarfaraz or left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir, but his tweet suggest that he wasn’t impressed with the public outburst by the aforementioned duo.
“Shallow minded approach EXPOSED!,” Hafeez tweeted.
The row started when Sarfaraz hit back at Hafeez after the latter’s remarks about wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
In a tweet after the first T20I between Pakistan and South Africa, Hafeez praised Mohammad Rizwan for his match-winning hundred but also stated that the latter was not considered Pakistan’s number one wicketkeeper-batsman despite good performances.

Replying to Hafeez, Sarfaraz said that “whoever has played for Pakistan has always been number one for the country and “respected accordingly”.
Amir also decided to chime in on Saturday and extended his support to Sarfaraz by praising the ex-skipper’s wicketkeeping skills and captaincy in the past.
