Sohail Tanvir vs Ben Cutting: Here's what actually happened

Peshawar Zalmi took on Quetta Gladiators in Match 22 as both teams looked to improve their standings and ensure a comfortable position before the play-offs.

Batting first, Zalmi were shook by Naseem Shah's mesmerizing pace but were given a lifeline by fifties from T20 veteran Shoaib Malik and all-rounder Hussain Talat.

However, Zalmi were still far off from posting a competitive score which meant Ben Cutting had to step up and use his muscle to get his franchise extra runs towards the death.

Power-hitter Cutting came up against Sohail Tanvir, who both have a history dating back to 2018, and smashed the left-arm seamer for 27 runs in an over.

After smashing Tanvir for back-to-back sixes, Cutting raised both his hands and showed middle fingers to Tanvir.

For neutrals, this was a freak incident but the same thing occurred back in 2018 in the Carrabien Premier League where Tanvir showed the same gesture after getting him out.

The argument between both led to the on-field umpire stepping in and disrupting the fight between both.

Here is the complete video of what had gone between the players before and today:
