Emerging all-rounder Mohammad Wasim Jr surpassed top Pakistan bowlers in T20Is during his team's third T20 World Cup 2022 Super-12 match against the Netherlands at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
Wasim, who bagged two wickets against the Netherlands, recorded the best bowling strike rate of 13.5 (minimum 30 wickets) for Pakistan in the format.

The right-arm pacer surpassed former bowlers Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gul with the accomplishment.
To keep their hopes of making it to the semi-finals, Pakistan's bowlers, led by spinner Shadab Khan, helped them thrash the Netherlands by six wickets on Sunday in Perth.
Pakistan held the Dutch to 91-9 before cruising to 95-4 with 37 balls remaining behind Mohammad Rizwan's 49-point performance.
However, it was the bowlers who helped a team win after they had lost to India in their opener and then been upset by Zimbabwe in Group 2.
To establish the tone for their team's dominance against a Dutch squad that is no longer eligible for the semi-finals after losing a third consecutive Super 12 game, Shadab recorded figures of 3-22, and fast bowler Mohammad Wasim claimed two wickets.
For the Men in Green to have a chance of making it to the semi-finals, they must win their final two Super 12s games. However, the outcomes of the other matches in the group also have an impact on their qualifying.
On Thursday, November 3, Pakistan's fourth match will see them face a formidable South African team.
Pakistan's next match will be played against South Africa on November 3 at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
