Pakistan Test cricket team captain Shan Masood has emphasized the importance of the upcoming series against the West Indies, particularly in home conditions, where every series carries significant value.  

Speaking at a press conference in Multan, Shan Masood highlighted the unique demands of Test cricket, stating, "Test cricket is a different format with its own challenges and requirements. Our desire is to play more Test matches and to continue showcasing our skills in this format."  

He acknowledged that the gaps between Test matches often bring unique challenges but reiterated the team's commitment to excelling in the longer format of the game.  

The first Test of the series between Pakistan and the West Indies is set to begin tomorrow at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
