Today's weather update ahead of Pakistan-Ireland T20 World Cup match

Pakistan is set to face Ireland in their final group match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on June 16 at Lauderhill in Florida.

The T20 World Cup 2024 matches at Central Broward Park Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida, are under the looming threat of rain.

Due to heavy rain in Florida on Friday, no cricket match occurred, leading to the USA and Ireland receiving one point each. This result propelled the USA to the Super Eight stage of the mega-event tournament from Group A, marking a significant milestone as it is their first World Cup appearance. They join India as the top two teams from their group.

With this outcome, all qualification scenarios in Group A were settled: Ireland’s chances of progressing to the Super Eight ended, while Pakistan also exited the tournament at the group stage.

Weather reports suggest that the morning of June 15th will experience mostly cloudy conditions with a temperature of 29°C, which will feel like 34°C in real terms and 32°C in shaded areas. A Flood Watch is in effect from 12:00 AM Tuesday until 8:00 PM Saturday, indicating potential heavy rainfall and flooding.

The winds will blow from the west at 11 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 15 km/h. Precipitation is expected to be around 1.0 mm, contributing to the humid atmosphere with a humidity level of 82%. The cloud cover will be extensive at 94%, and the dew point will be at 24°C. Visibility is expected to be around 9 km, with a 40% chance of precipitation.

It is worth noting that the Men in Green suffered defeats in their initial two ongoing tournament matches against co-hosts USA and arch-rivals India. Nonetheless, they secured a victory against Canada in their subsequent match.
