Today's weather update for Pakistan, New Zealand T20I series opener

The first encounter of the five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled for today at Rawalpindi, but weather forecasts suggest potential disruptions due to rain, as reported by The Weather Channel.

According to the latest updates, there is a 60 percent chance of rain during the day and an 80 percent likelihood of precipitation at night in Rawalpindi. This raises concerns for the inaugural match of the series.

Looking ahead, there is a 49 percent chance of rain on April 20, coinciding with the date of the second T20I. However, the probability drops to 19 percent on April 21, the scheduled day for the third T20I.

Following the initial fixtures at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, both teams will transition to Lahore for the remaining two T20Is, slated for April 25 and 27, respectively.

All matches of the T20I series are set to commence at 7:00 pm (PST).
