Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials are yet to embark on England tour due to the 14-day quarantine period that everyone entering England have to undergo. However, the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and his wife have already left for England for vacations in the same chartered flight which the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had sent for Pakistan team.
Although the Chairman won’t be receiving any allowance from the board during his private trip to England, other PCB employees have been benefiting from massive salaries and allowances during their past domestic and foreign trips.
According to sources, a document was forwarded by the PCB to National Assembly member Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, detailing the officials’ salaries and allowances.
According to the document, the PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer receive 10 per cent of their monthly salary in medical allowance. They also get Rs.90,000 in car allowance along with their monthly salary. It is important to note that the board has provided them with a driver, petrol and a car. Hence, the car allowance doesn’t make sense.
