New Zealand pacer Trent Boult, who has 306 wickets to his name in Test cricket, has claimed the record with the bat by scoring the most runs by a No.11 batter in Test cricket.
The 32-year-old scored 17 in the second innings of the ongoing second New Zealand vs England Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
Boult surpassed Sri Lankan spin-bowling legend Muttiah Muralitharan, who had scored 623 runs. Boult now has 640 runs at the No.11 spot.
