Pakistan Shaheens firmly took control of the first four-day match against Bangladesh 'A'. The second day concluded with the hosts leading by a substantial 245 runs. 

After a dominant batting performance, Pakistan Shaheens ended the day at 367 for 4 in 90 overs, responding to Bangladesh 'A's first innings total of just 122 all out.

The standout performance of the day came from Pakistan Shaheens’ middle-order batter Umar Amin. The left-hander played a marathon knock, scoring 177 runs.

Amin’s innings was a blend of patience and aggression, as he dominated the Bangladesh 'A' bowlers throughout his time at the crease. His century included 23 boundaries and three sixes, anchoring the innings and setting the foundation for a commanding lead.

Skipper Saud Shakeel supported Umar Amin, who continued his fine form with a well-crafted 76. Shakeel's innings was crucial in building a strong partnership with Amin, ensuring that Pakistan Shaheens capitalized on the momentum. 

The duo forged a formidable 195-run partnership for the second wicket.

Even after the dismissal of Amin and Shakeel, Pakistan Shaheens continued to pile on the runs. Saad Khan (31 not out) and Kamran Ghulam (20 not out) remained unbeaten at the close of play, guiding the team to a commanding total of 367 for 4. 

Their steady contributions extended the lead to 245 runs, giving Pakistan Shaheens a dominant position going into Day 3.

Bangladesh, 'A' bowlers, found it tough to make inroads on a pitch that seemed to favour the batsmen. Hasan Murad was the pick of the bowlers, taking 2 wickets for 49 runs.

However, the rest of the bowling attack struggled to contain the Pakistan Shaheens' batsmen. 

Tanzim Hasan and Nayeem Hasan managed to pick up a wicket each, but they were unable to prevent the flow of runs, especially against the likes of Umar Amin and Saud Shakeel.
