Multan Sultans’ batter Usman Khan scored an unbeaten 100 not out from 50 balls against Islamabad United on Sunday in Rawalpindi, which included an impressive tally of 15 fours and three sixes.
Having played just four games, Usman has scored 316 runs at an average of 158 and a strike rate of 184.
Last year, after hitting the fastest PSL century in history off 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators, Usman expressed his dream of playing for the United Arab Emirates instead of Pakistan.
In a post-match press conference on Sunday, when asked if anyone from the Pakistan team management had approached him regarding representing Pakistan, Usman simply responded, "No, not yet."
When pressed further about his willingness to play for Pakistan, Usman redirected the conversation, stating, "Let's talk about PSL only."
With three centuries in just 14 PSL innings, Usman Khan now shares the record of most PSL hundreds with Kamran Akmal, who took 74 innings to achieve the same milestone.
