Wasim Akram joins Karachi ahead of PSL4

Former Pakistan legendary fast-bowlers Wasim Akram has decided to join Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings as president ahead of season four.

Akram was part of rescinded PSL franchise Multan Sultans during the third edition as team director and bowling coach.

The 52-year-old represented Pakistan in 104 Tests and 356 ODIs — bagging over 900 wickets — during an illustrious career which spanned close to two decades.

He is also the only fast-bowler in ODI history to claim more than 500 international wickets.

The fourth edition of PSL is scheduled to begin on February 14, 2019.
