The 32-year-old played a crucial knock of 35-ball 51 runs with three fours and two gigantic sixes against South Africa in the must-win game of the Super 12 round

Iftikhar and Shadab Khan made a crucial partnership of 82 runs for the sixth wicket, helping Pakistan to register 185 runs to keep their hopes alive to qualify for the sem-final.
During his innings, Iftikhar Ahmed smoked a gigantic six of 106 meters in the 16th over of the match off Lungi Ngidi, surpassing the previous biggest six by David Miller, who hit a six of 104 meters against India.
