Mohammad Rizwan and Naseem Shah led their side, Comilla Victorians, to four-run victory over Khulna Tigers on Saturday in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Batting first, Rizwan opened the innings for Comilla and played an unbeaten 54-run knock from 47 balls, which included four fours and a six. Khushdil Shah also contributed with 13-run inning in the end, to take Victorians to 165-2 in 20 overs. Rizwan was adjudged player of the match for his innings.
While defending the total, Naseem struck early for his side, trapping experienced Tamim Iqbal lbw for 11. Naseem also had an injury scare while trying to stop a boundary, but was later deemed fit to continue bowling.
With Khulna needing 46 runs from 24 balls, Naseem returned to clean bowled Shai Hope for 33 to hamper the chase. The Pakistan pacer finished with figures of 2/29 in his four overs, while bowling at a speed of 152 kph in the final over of his spell.
