Pakistan’s young left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has been part and parcel of the Men in Green’s bowling attack over the past 18 months or so.
He made his debut in the third Twenty20 International (T20I) against the West Indies in April 2018.
Shaheen has 30 wickets in eight Test matches at an average of 27.96. He has 40 scalps in 19 One-day Internationals (ODIs) at a strike-rate of 23.1, while his Twenty20 International (T20I) wickets are 16 so far.

The six-and-a-half-foot pacer made his first-class debut for Khan Research Laboratories in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on in September 2017, where he bagged 8 wickets for just 39 runs in the second innings of the match. These are the best figures by a Pakistan bowler on first-class debut.
From their onwards, Shaheen never looked back as he was soon called up for national duty and has quickly established himself as one of Pakistan’s most reliable bowlers in all formats of the game.
