Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz registered his career-best figures in Twenty20 cricket to help Dhaka Platoon register a 74-run win against Rajshahi Royals in the ongoing season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The left-arm pacer started his spell with a triple-wicket maiden to hamper Royals chase of 175 runs. Riaz picked up the wickets of top-order batsmen Liton Das, Alok Kapali and Shoaib Malik to reduce Royals from 39-0 to 39-3.

The 34-year-old then returned to remove Nahidul Islam and Kamran Islam and ended his spell with five wickets for eight runs in 3.4 overs.
Riaz was adjudged player of the match for his outstanding performance.
Earlier, Wahab’s Pakistan teammate Asif Ali’s blistering 55-run knock off just 28 deliveries had helped Dhaka in mustering a competitive total.
