Pakistan and India are taking on each other in the Super 4 clash match of Asia Cup in Colombo on Sunday.

After being asked to bat first, India's opening duo, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, provided an excellent start for their team. However, their partnership was eventually broken by Shadab Khan, with Sharma departing after making a solid 56 from 49 deliveries. Soon after, Shubman Gill also fell, having reached a half-century, courtesy of Shaheen Afridi's dismissal at 58.

India appeared to be on a smooth course at 147-2 in 24.1 overs, with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul forming a formidable partnership. Unfortunately, heavy rain forced an interruption in play. Thankfully, the Asian Cricket Council has taken precautions by scheduling a special reserve day for this crucial clash.

If India is unable to continue batting today, and Pakistan needs to pursue a 20-over target, the required score for Pakistan would be 181.

In the event that today's play is completely rained out, the game will continue from the exact moment tomorrow. However, if a 20-over chase can take place today, the umpires will make every effort to finish a shortened match today rather than using the reserve day. 10.06pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST) is the cut-off for a 20 overs match today.

Whereas, if rain disrupts the match once again tomorrow, and India doesn't get a chance to bat again, and Pakistan are given same overs, then Pakistan's target will be 206 in 24 overs.
