Quetta Gladiators’ wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed was replaced by Sajjad Ali as a concussion substitute during the PSL clash against Multan Sultans on Sunday.
This decision was made after Sarfaraz had to leave the field during the last over of Sultans' innings when he was hit on the head by a stray throw.
Immediate medical attention was given to Sarfaraz and he was taken to the hospital for a CT scan. Wicketkeeper’s CT scan reports confirm everything is clear and he is in good health. He will travel to Karachi with the team.
Sajjad quickly assumed the wicketkeeping duties and showcased his agility by successfully catching Iftikhar Ahmad right after donning the gloves previously worn by Sarfaraz.
Sajjad had a brief stay at the crease with the bat, as he was dismissed by Usama Mir after scoring 2 runs
