Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman has revealed that the bat he used during the recently concluded South Africa ODI series was gifted to him by veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
The left-hander played a crucial role in Pakistan’s series win, scoring 302 runs in three innings with the help of two centuries, and was also named the player of the series.
“The bat I used during the series was gifted by Mohammad [Hafeez] bhai. He has always supported me and every senior cricketer should learn from him on how to treat junior cricketers. He also supported and guided me during the PSL [Pakistan Super League],” said Zaman during a virtual press conference.
