Aakash Chopra unveils his T20 World Cup 2024 team of the tournament

Former Indian cricketer and renowned commentator Aakash Chopra unveiled his Team of the Tournament for the T20 World Cup 2024, following India's historic victory over South Africa in the final match held in Barbados on June 29th. 

India's triumph marked their second T20 World Cup title, making them only the third team, alongside West Indies and England, to achieve this milestone, having previously won in 2007 by defeating Pakistan.

Speaking on his popular YouTube channel, Chopra emphasized the standout performances that shaped his selection criteria. Leading the team from the front as opener and captain is Rohit Sharma, whose consistent and impactful displays throughout the tournament earned him the dual role. 

Despite an impressive Player of the Match performance in the final, Chopra opted not to include Virat Kohli in his lineup.
