It is highly likely that left-arm pacer Mir Hamza will replace Aamer in the team
Pakistan’s fast bowler Aamer Jamal is set to be dropped for the second Test against South Africa, sources confirm.
In the first Test at Centurion, Aamer bowled only eight overs in the first innings and a single over in the second innings. It is highly likely that left-arm pacer Mir Hamza will replace Aamer in the team. Meanwhile, sources suggest that left-arm spinner Nauman Ali is also unlikely to feature in the second Test.
The second match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and South Africa will begin tomorrow in Cape Town. The host team leads the series 1-0 after a narrow two-wicket victory in the first Test.
