Lahore Qalandars' head coach Aaqib Javed will not accompany the side in the final of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven.

According to details, Qalandars' Director of Cricket Operation was not in the dugout during the last night's Eliminator against Islamabad United as the sources have confirmed that Aaqib is under self-isolation for the last five days.

Former Pakistan pacer is feeling much better now than before and he is not experiencing serious symptoms of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Aaqib wished best of luck to the Qalandars for the final against Multan Sultans on Sunday

"The way Lahore Qalandars performed in the playoffs is commendable. All the boys are putting hard yards, defeat is part of the game but the main task is to give 100%. The boys have also worked hard in batting, bowling and fielding which has paid off in the form of success," Aaqib said.

Aaqib concluded by hoping that Qalandars will also win the final and claimed the HBL PSL trophy for the first time in history.
