Aaron Finch loves watching Babar, Kohli's cover drives

Cover drives are one of those cricketing shots which still hold its uniqueness in this modern era of cricket.

Few of the current stars like Babar Azam and Virat Kohli are renowned for this specific shot and often, there has been a debate about who plays this shot well among the two.

However, Australia's captain Aaron Finch is fond of watching them play cover drive.

Finch is currently playing Indian Premier League (IPL), representing Kolkata Knight Riders. Finch replaced Alex Hales - who pulled out of the league owing to bubble fatigue. 

During a QnA session on KKR's official Twitter handle, a user Soham asked which player you think plays the best cover drive? In reply, Finch said: "Virat Kohli and Babar Azam - it’s an absolute treat watching the two of these guys play that shot."

Remember, Finch also vouched for Babar Azam to feature in Big Bash League (BBL) during the recent Australia's tour of Pakistan.

"I just asked Babar (Azam) if he's interested in coming and playing for the Melbourne Renegades and he certainly is - and, hopefully, we can announce that signing tomorrow!  Only joking," Finch had said.

"If Babar Azam is available to play Big Bash, any team would love to have him," he added.
