The Women's Under-19 T20 Asia Cup will be held every two years
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the introduction of the Women's Under-19 T20 Asia Cup, marking a significant step towards the development of young female cricketers in Asia.
The decision was made during a meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, chaired by ACC President Jay Shah.
The Women's Under-19 T20 Asia Cup will be held every two years and is set to take place before the ICC Women's Under-19 World Cup.
In a statement, the ACC highlighted the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that it will be the first structured pathway for women's cricket in Asia, offering future stars a chance to showcase their talent on the international stage.
