Pakistan registered a thrilling victory over Afghanistan in the 2022 Asia Cup. However, the victory was overshadowed by the scenes towards the end as both sets of fans engaged in a heated debate which turned into a physical contest.
The fans replicated the behavior of what had gone beforehand on the pitch when Asif Ali lost his wicket. This is one of many instances which have gone beforehand and such repeating patterns are never going to pan out well in terms of unity between both nations. The players need to lead by example and enable the fans in terms of being humble.
