The inclusion of a quality pacer is expected to strengthen Zalmi's bowling attack
Afghanisan fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq has confirmed his imminent joining of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi.
The announcement was made by Naveen himself via a story on his official Instagram account.
This news comes as a much-needed boost for the Babar Azam-led Zalmi, who have faced setbacks in the early stages of PSL 9, having lost both of their matches so far. The inclusion of a quality pacer like Naveen-ul-Haq is expected to strengthen their bowling attack and provide them with added strength on the field.
It is worth noting that Zalmi suffered a defeat at the hands of Karachi Kings in the sixth match of PSL 9 at the Gaddafi Stadium. Despite a commendable effort from skipper Babar Azam, who scored an impressive 72 runs off 51 balls, Zalmi fell short as Kings' bowlers proved to be a formidable challenge for their batting lineup.
