Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by five wickets at the Adelaide Oval and qualified for the Semi-finals of the T20 World Cup.

Shaheen Shah Afridi led Pakistan's bowling from the front and took a career-best of 4-22 in his four-over spell, along with Shadab Khan, who took two wickets by giving away 31 runs in his four-over spell.

Pakistan's opening pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan opened up the innings relatively slow as both of them could not finish the job as the target was quite low.

Mohammad Haris (31) and Shan Masood (24) came to bat and chased the target with 11 deliveries remaining in the innings.

As Pakistan has reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi suggested that Pakistan's opening order must be changed.

Mohammad Haris, who played his second match of the T20 World Cup today, scored a firing 18-ball 31 runs, including one four and two massive sixes.

Shahid Afridi has suggested that Mohammad Haris should open with Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam should bat one spot down.

@babarazam258 we need fire power at the top with batters who are showing clear intent like Haris and Shahdab. Plz consider Haris opening with Riz and you one down followed by ur next best hitter. You should be rigid on winning the match and flexible on a balanced batting line up
