Quetta Gladiators' top run-scorer Ahsan Ali will make a comeback after missing out the clash against Peshawar Zalmi.

The opening batter picked up a thumb injury against Lahore Qalandars which ruled him out of the tie against Zalmi, which Gladiators lost by 24-runs.

Ahsan Ali has featured for the Gladiators in 7 matches and has managed to score 249 runs at an average of 41.50.

He was replaced by Will Smeed for the Peshawar Zalmi match, who followed up his 97-run knock with a 99-run inning. However, his efforts were in vain as Gladiators lost the match by 24-runs.

Gladiators currently sit 5th on the HBL PSL points table with 6 points. The Sarfaraz-led team needs to step up in their next match against leaders Multan Sultans else their chances of playoffs qualification can severely be damaged.
