Pakistan’s former pacer Mohammad Amir has incurred the wrath of Twitter users for voicing his opinion on a matter when it was, probably, not needed.
The debate started when Pakistan’s former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed hit back at veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez after the latter’s remarks about wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
In a tweet, Hafeez praised Rizwan, for his century in the first South Africa T20I, but also stated that the latter was not considered Pakistan’s number one wicketkeeper-batsman despite good performances.

Replying to Hafeez, Sarfaraz said that “whoever has played for Pakistan has always been number one for the country and “respected accordingly”.
Replying to Sarfaraz, Amir praised the ex-skipper’s wicketkeeping skills and captaincy in the past.
Here is how Twitter reacted:
He seriously needs to consult some for his continuous need for attention and poking nose where it doesn't belong. https://t.co/oUv9RFh6ai

He deserves Alex Hales treatment. Should not be picked due to potential dressing room issues https://t.co/4xgY8Ek1Fr
