Pacer expressed his confidence in the positive impact that Arthur's leadership and communication skills will have on the players
Former Pakistan pacer, Mohammad Amir, has made a big prediction about the national team under the guidance of Mickey Arthur, the newly-appointed team director.
Amir, who has played under Arthur's coaching for three years, expressed his confidence in the positive impact that Arthur's leadership and communication skills will have on the players.
“Mickey knows how to provide role clarity to players. His communications with players is really good,” Amir said on his YouTube channel.
Amir went on to make a bold prediction about the impact of Arthur's involvement with the team. He confidently stated that the players' body language will undergo a significant transformation under Arthur's guidance.
“Let me tell you, in the coming days, when Mickey will be fully involved with the team, the body language of players will change completely. The same players will look different to you. I have played under Mickey for three years so I know how he works. There will be a significant change in the body language of same players that are playing for Pakistan right now,” he predicted.
The change in body language suggested by Amir implies that the players will exhibit a more positive and assertive approach in Test cricket.
