PAKvAUS: Ashwin praises Babar, looking forward to an "exciting finish" tomorrow

Indian superstar Ravichandran Ashwin has praised Babar Azam for his splendid innings against Australia.

After being cheaply bowled out by the Aussies in the first innings, Pakistan had a tremendous task on their hands as they were asked to chase a target of 506 runs.

Pakistan lost two early wickets of Imam-ul-Haq and veteran Azhar Ali. Struggling at 21-2, Babar Azam joined Abdullah Shafique in the middle and laid the foundation of a partnership that can propel them to win the Test match.

The 171-run partnership with Shafique is the highest-ever partnership by an Asian pair against Australia in the fourth innings.

Showcasing grit and determination, Babar Azam received words of appreciation from Indian spinner Ravi Ashwin.

Ashwin took it to Twitter to voice his opinion and claimed that it is going to be an "exciting finish tomorrow".

Pakistan still requires 314 runs on the final day of the Test match with Abdullah Shafique (71*) and Babar Azam (102*) in the middle and 8 wickets in hand.
