India defeat Bangladesh by three wickets in a nail-biting encounter to lift Asia Cup title for the record sixth time in Dubai on Friday. 

After being put into bat first, Bangladesh posted 222 before being bowled out in 48.3 overs, courtesy Liton Das’ brilliant 121 off 117 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes. 

For the Men in Blue, left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was the most successful bowler with figures of 3-45 in his 10 overs. 

In reply, team India found it hard on a slow pitch as well but got over the line on the final delivery of the match. 

Captain Rohit Sharma finished the innings with the top score of 48 off 55 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. 

For Bangladesh, pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain claimed two wickets each.
