Asia Cup 2022: Team India staying separately from all teams

The Asia Cup 2022 is all set to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from August 27.

Afghanistan will take on Sri Lanka in the tournament opener while traditional rivals Pakistan and India will face each other on August 28.

The teams have started their preparations at the ICC Cricket Academy Ground in Dubai.

India is training at the ICC Academy just like the other teams, including Pakistan. However, the team has once again maintained the tradition of staying separately from other teams.

Indian team is staying at the Palm Jumeirah Resort while other participating teams are staying at one hotel.

During the T20 World Cup, the Men in Blue stayed separately while the other teams stayed in other hotels. 

The weather is very hot in UAE these days and the training of the Indian team is scheduled in the evening hours. Its second session is also scheduled after sunset.

It must be noted that all the arrangements for the Asia Cup are made by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The President of the ACC is India's  Jay Shah, who is also the Secretary of the BCCI.
