Asia Cup 2023: Naseem Shah suffers another injury scare

Naseem Shah has suffered another injury scare in the ongoing Super 4 clash against India in Colombo.

After bowling the second delivery of his final over, he went off the field holding his palm/wrist.

Hence, Naseem wasn’t able to complete his full quota of overs and Iftikhar Ahmed had to bowl remaining four deliveries to complete the 49^th over.

The extent of his injury unknown as of yet. He conceded 53 runs in 9.4 overs, without picking up a wicket.

Earlier in the tournament, Naseem injured his shoulder while trying to save a boundary in the first Super 4 stage match against Bangladesh on Wednesday.

However, he came back to complete his spell and finished with figures of 3/34 in his 5.4 overs, to help Pakistan bowl out Bangladesh for 193.
