The final decision on the venue will be made by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC)
The 2025 Asia Cup is likely to be shifted from India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to recent media reports.
A cricket website has reported that while the tournament was originally scheduled to be held in India this year, there is now a strong possibility that it will take place in the UAE in September.
India currently holds the hosting rights for the Asia Cup, but due to ongoing political tensions between India and Pakistan, the tournament may be moved to a neutral venue.
According to reports, the final decision on the venue will be made by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
Sri Lanka and the UAE are currently being considered as possible host nations, but no final decision has been made yet.
The Asia Cup will be played in the T20 format, with 19 matches scheduled over two weeks. A total of eight teams, including Pakistan and India, will participate in the tournament.
