Australia has announced its squad for the fourth and fifth Tests against India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.  

Under the leadership of Pat Cummins, Sean Abbott makes a return to the squad, while Beau Webster and Jhye Richardson have also been included. The squad features players like Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Sam Konstas, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, and Mitchell Starc.  

Notably, opener Nathan McSweeney has been dropped, and debutant opener Sam Connistace has been included in the Test squad for the first time. Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood remains unavailable due to fitness issues.

The fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between Australia and India is scheduled to begin on December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The five-match series is currently tied at 1-1, setting the stage for an exciting contest ahead.
