Australia's Tony Hemming has officially begun his tenure as the Chief curator. 

Upon arriving at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, he met with the ground staff to discuss key aspects of pitch and ground preparation for the upcoming cricket matches.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently appointed Hemming as Chief Curator, entrusting him with the responsibility of preparing the pitches for the highly anticipated Test series against Bangladesh and England.

Bangladesh will face Pakistan in two Tests, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi from 21st to 25th August and in Karachi from 30th August to 3rd September.

England are also scheduled to play a three-match Test series in October.

  • 21-25 Aug – First Test, Rawalpindi
  • 30 Aug -3 Sep – Second Test, Karachi

England in Pakistan (Three Tests)

  • 7-11 October 2024 – First Test, Multan
  • 15-19 October 2024 – Second Test, Karachi
  • 24-28 October 2024 – Third Test, Rawalpindi
