Both players will soon join the ranks of Mohammad Yousuf, Younis Khan, and Inzamam-ul-Haq
Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq have delivered scintillating performances in the one-day international format and the dynamic duo is inching closer to breaking yet another record, previously set by legendary batters Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan.
Batting together in the second ODI against West Indies, Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq put up a 120-run stand. In the process, Imam-ul-Haq smashed 72 runs while Babar Azam went on to score 77 runs.
With this, the duo marked the eighth occasion of adding 100 or more runs for Pakistan together. Only Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan are ahead of the pair with 9 hundred-run stands.
It is worth mentioning that Imam-ul-Haq continued his run of scoring most consecutive ODI half-centuries in the third ODI whereas Babar's run was broken by Hayden Walsh as Pakistan's all-format captain could only score 1 run before being dismissed.
